BJ retired after a loss to Nick Diaz by unanimous decision. Bj hung tough in the first round with his quick eyes and punches. Had he had strong wrestling and Ju-jitsu, he might have had a chance in the first round. He couldn't.
Diaz's body punches in the second round took away BJ's stamina and BJ couldn't show swift response to Diaz's punches like he did in the first. After that, the match was all Niaz's.
Somehow, BJ lost his mojo (strong stamina) around the time he fought Frankie Edgar. He slid down from his best since then.
